Dale and I went out onto Lake Nokomis this past Saturday to check out the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships. It brought back memories of taking Sophie out on the ice of Lake Nokomis when she was a puppy. We brought her out there to run her with the intention of trying to tire her out. She was then at the point where she wouldn't come when you called her but would come to you if you started walking away from her. We got her to come to us when we turned and started walking toward the shore. Top photo is of Dale on the lake this past Saturday and the bottom photo is of me. In the picture of me I didn't even know I was in the shot. I was just turning away from the bitter wind that literally felt like it was cutting my checks.
